It was a long flight, but finally we arrived. Fort Ilocandia Resort! With a hearty breakfast we were ready to go and explore Ilocos as much as we can in the few days we have here.

Our first destinaton, Paoay church. It was a sign. As always before we travel we need to visit the first church we see. As the saying goes “the family that prays together stays together”13880414_10206515563990245_1807422782593055123_n.jpg

The sound of the wind the splash of the waves. These are what I hear while I was stunned from the sight of the windmills.

What I see is dust, the sea and the rock formations that were simply amazing. 15410004_1539187916097890_1228011791_o.jpg

The place was simply beautiful with the sight of waves splashing at the pure white rocks.

Shooting a gun was harder than I expected. The weight of the gun, the recoil and the fear of shooting the people near me by accident (lol). A new yet fun experience to be had. But seriously, shooting a gun is hard.

The end of the trip. What beats a family picture before ending a family outing? None I tell you that. The joy filling me that I could be with my family at this moment is simply great. Vigan made me feel like I was transported to the past with its old houses, horse-drawn carriages and stone roads.
